I'm living and working in the states now and I find my standard of living has dropped... I also have higher risks here - risk of going bankrupt from getting sick, risk of getting shot, risk of getting in a traffic accident. The infrastructure is falling apart. People are afraid of each other. A lot more slums in deplorable condition. Overall it's a shit place. Really sorry to hear that!! No need to sacrifice further unless they won't let you back in Canada. Best of luck to you!

Couldn't you get a job delivering pizza in Canada ? Just keep in mind Land Shark there is nobody in this country who got rich on their own. Nobody. You delivered your pizza - good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your pizza on roads the rest of us paid for. You took jobs away from pizza-boys the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize your pizza... Now look. You delivered your pizza and it turned into something terrific or a great idea - God bless! Keep a hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk your pizza-tips and pay forward for the next pizza-boy who comes along.
