Education, by whatever means, reading good books, is how people become smart.

Take 10,000 people randomly without a high school education and then compare them to 10,000 kids who graduated from UC Berkeley and test them on all things involving thinking. How do you think the two groups will compare. Ouch! Classic example of illogic. Gotta control one's variables in any such comparison. You'd think one would learn better in college.
