Just a little summary information on Micron at this point in time. As all readers know, Micron closed out this past week with a PE of 7.9 on Nxt Yr earnings estimate.

The consensus of the analysts recommend a strong buy, but the "market" is not buying it at the moment. The stock closed down again today. The earnings show a rising trend for 2017, but then tend to a downward trend for 2018/19. None of these estimated earnings profiles match the actual results of 2014. Last Quarter MU posted actual earnings of 0.32, +0.04 cents above the estimate. Q2 ends at the end of February about 5 weeks away. The estimate for Q2 now stands at +0.63 cents, essentially double the Q1 actual. As always, future growth is most important so it will be interesting to see how they perform to the estimate, and most importantly, what is the earnings outlook going forward. Both growth and the earnings trend need to point upward to reach $33 a share.
