At the Islander game last Saturday night, I sat next to a guy from Calgary, who was in NYC on business. He called himself a "progressive conservative" and was pretty alarmed by Trump. He was convinced that Trump would provide the occasion to blow up the global economy. He was in his 40s and a gold bug.
He was very much opposed to Trudeau. Called him superficial and said he just looked good.

Tulsi Gabbard is very marketable. More importantly, her heart and values are in the right spot. Warren is not marketable. Outside of the Left coast and the Northeast, this country is not free enough to vote for a gay woman for President. Brown? Maybe, but let's see if he can win another term first. That may not be so easy.

When I was in Chicago a few years ago to watch Mets/Cubs, the local business people were apologizing to me for the gay parade the day before. I just looked at them and said: "Why are you apologizing to me?"
