Do you prefer the electoral college over the popular vote? Do you agree with the reasoning of the founding fathers? If so, why? I always thought the popular vote should be the determining factor because I view the country as a Democracy and not as a Republic.
Also, I think the way the Nation is set up in terms of attitudes, the Electoral College is only going to benefit the conservatives, not the liberals, who reside primarily in the urban areas.

vote by mail works very well in Washington State, easy to do recounts, also.

It's very nice to receive your ballot weeks before the election, and have a lot of time to consider all the issues.
