Big problem you guys have in the US IMO... confusing Dems with Libs.. Said it before your Dem party covers most of the gamut of Canucks three main parties... even despite our New Cons (Harper flavour) being a little more right than their predecessors ... Dem <> Lib in US.... Took me awhile to realise that... Well not by Canuck standards anyway.. Lots of Canucks assume that your Dems are like our Libs... I just do not see it.. Sanders would be a left leaning lib here (an NDP) .. Clinton would have been at home in our Conservative party..

Alberta switched to NDP provincially... which is to the left of our Libs... Lib in Alberta would have been a 'least bad vote' like voting Dem this latest go in the UIS... They had PCs for a long long time... and like all Fed parties here of all ilks.. had no vision... being content to suckle off the US teat forever... (Our first Trudeau fcuked us up on energy... re the flawed, divisive and plain stupid NEP) Mr. Trump is a wake up call for us too ...In Alberta NDP was also a protest vote since they appeal as do both Sanders and Trump to the everyman..
