This is the updated Bookings, Billings and BtB table with the data just released by SEMI for the month of December 2016 - the last time that SEMI will be publishing in this format for the North American semi companies. Since that is the situation, for those who want to do so, this would be a good candidate for reference to "keep" this post.

This report for the month of December was very good. It finished off 2016 in great style with a nice burst of energy. Two lines were added at the bottom of the table for this report showing the end of year values for the SOX going back to 1991 in both actual and percent terms. The SOX can obviously be shown in chart or other formats, but the data below shows for one period, the SOX made an interim bottom in 2008 and then has increased in value for 6 of the last 8 years. This past year was an impressive gain, up by 243(36.7%). For the 8 years, the SOX is up by 694(+327%). The BtB was up for 10 of the 12 months in 20117.
