By all information you provided, it looks like he wrote it all off that year. lol........you run a business.....if he had 900 million income he could write it off that year but he didn't so he gets to carry it over year after year after year..... People like you and me can only carry over 3,000 a year as a capital loss. I've been declaring a 3K loss for at least 15 years( against a 30k plus net loss) and I am down to my last 900 bucks or so.... Don't worry, we'll blame your poor vision on the lighting in your house...... Good night...
