All:

Don't know if this was posted, but the St. Louis Post-Dispatch had an interesting article in yesterday's paper about advances in routing software developed here at Washington University. A link to the Wash U. engineer's paper is:

dworkin.wustl.edu (then click on "Fastest Lookups in the West")

You can also get the news article by going to stlnet.com, but I'm not sure of the exact URL of the article. They are claiming 10x increases in the sorting speeds of IP addresses, and say that "almost every major router vendor has signed nondisclosure agreements." Does anyone have more information about this? Wash U. is selling licensing agreements pretty cheaply (in the low hundred thousands), so this development may benefit all router vendors equally.
