Chip,

If you want to draw a center line from the April lows, then you need to use a similar size wave to bisect. If I were to use such a major low, I would also bisect the August high and October low for the midpoint. When you do that, you'll notice that the market has been following the lower tine of that fork also. You cannot mix different size waves or waves from different areas.
