I was wrong on that one - it's a 200 MHz Pentium MMx.

Yes, an AMD chip can be plugged right in - but only at 200 MHz.

Remember - AMD's K6 needs a goosed up Vcc of 3.3 volts to run at 233 Mhz - and Intel's socket 7 Pentium MMX runs just fine at 2.8 volts.
