Santosh:

There are many excellent and advanced fee-based sites and Yahoo! (IMO) will be dead as soon as see announces a fee (unless the fee is a token), IMO. Yahoo!Finance is not the best site. It is one of the top 10, but Microsoft is #1. There is a nice story in WSJ that says that when Bill Gates smells money, he sends his smartest troop of programmers to decimate the niche or buy the competition at a small price. If Yahoo! were to be $500 mil, Bill might like to buy the Yahoo! franchise. Remember, Microsoft has the best franchise value in the world and so Bill does not have to pay $500 mil for something that can be created in a backyard. It is just my opinion.
