Mike,

You are making me glad I am holding mostly cash on the US side and a no-load T-Bill Fund on the Canadian side.

I will snoop around the web and see if I can find anything about the status of that proposal.

John

Interesting. Don't know if you remember MB recommending the RVT convertible notes. RVT used the funds to invest in stocks. RVT called the notes early. Fund manager is conservative -- and he's paying back notes used to invest before they are due. These guys want to take out a loan now? Doesn't look like a good time for that. I wonder what kind of notice they would give to their customers -- probably some small footnote at the back of the prospectus.

Mike,

I came up empty on the search. Just too many hits on the SEC site.

Was there a reference number or an exact title for the SEC proposal?

John

<< permission to borrow between funds INCLUDING MONEY MARKET FUNDS to meet redemptions if necessary.>>> Would not the legal consequences of such action be horrendous? But with smoke and mirrors I guess it could done. Very Scary scenario.
