Yes, I was there.
My report: 92.3% of the shares voted, all issues passed, the board was elected. Earns release is March 5th 1998 (remember, the qtr ends 1/31/1998, so don't say it's late) Questions asked were on the repurchase of shares- Some were bot last month and more is too be bot this month, Volpe is handling the timing and buying. Volpe will be finished with a complete undertaking of analizing of the company and visiting every division in about two weeks. 401k is being finalized as I type, they have lost 0 employees to competitors, Copies of two COVER page articles were given out, one on ABCN from Network on the web 12/1/1997 and the cover article from EE Times on Net+Arm chip. There have been orders(Plural) for the 'mux and the marketplace acceptance is good! Which is the important thing IMO. It seems the orders have come from individual business's not Large telco or ISPs (yet), the large orders with follow on sales will be announced, but I can't be sure, orders are probably less than $1 million each but no firm names or figures mentioned, Annette over ordered on the Danish (fresh), and I told her to stop wasting our money on the fresh squeezed OJ, frozen concentrate is good enough. Reading between the lines--Everyone was upbeat and very positive, those at the corp. office were very busy and working hard, the phones were ringing. Also The 'mux seems to be of higher quality than any others being worked on for the metro market and they are not interested in the long haul market. China plant is running at a shift and one half or about 65%. Can't convert a short haul to a long haul, very difficult tech, short haul may be as big or bigger than long haul. Any questions? Hurry and ask my memory fades fast now a days.
