good luck trying to cancell.. their phone is always busy they had me on hold for 45 minutes.. then an hour.. i finally emailed them to cancell me before my time{trial} was up.. the %$$%0 jerks charged for it anyway.. i ended up paying 130 bucks for something i did not use... as i could not access the net with them, and paid netcom for the access.. finally got thru to cancell by trying to charge back thru CC,
big nightmare.. for free i would not use aol, they abuse their customers..but aol is better than none, right..

As a long suffering Netcom customer, their customer service is below par. The customer service # is long distance and I have waited as long as 45 mins/1 hour. At the end of it have to listen to some absolute nonsense. They do have lots of POP's(though I haven't investigaged the 56k ones at all). They never seem to call back on problems they promised to fix. Do not use Netcruiser(as at one point the browser in it didn't support Secure HTTP), use some standard email package with a browser separately.
