Personally I can't see that any country will be able to fully ban a particular religion.

What you can do is to put any member of such a religion under a particularly strict vetting procedure so that a member of that religion is not a likely to be a terrorist member. In other words make it extremely difficult for a member of a religion, from whose ranks, indiscriminate murderers, bombers, suicide "missionaries", etc, originate, to enter America.

And in so doing, you make it clear to the religious leaders of that religion that your country expects anyone who knows of anyone, especially from within the ranks of that religion, who is intent on causing harm or death to your citizens, to fully co-operate with your country's law enforcement agencies to bring such a person, or persons, to the attention of said authorities.

And until such time as the US Government sees that form of ENTHUSIASTIC CO-OPERATION forthcoming, the Very Strict VETTING and scrutiny, of that religion's membership, will continue, and fewer and fewer members of that religion will be permitted entry as time passes.

And in addition to that, ANY religious centre of that religion will need to obtain a permit, or similar, to open its doors to its followers. And to retain that "permit" the ongoing teaching and preaching will be carefully MONITORED to ensure that there is no negative teachings and sentiments being passed on to its members. At the first sign of such negative anti-American sentiment being expressed, the centre will be closed down and all religious "preachers" connected to that centre will be deported, with their families, immediately.

Any religion must be made to CLEARLY UNDERSTAND that whereas there is the sentiment of "freedom of religion" expressed in the American Constitution, there is NOTHING THERE about "freedom to murder and destruct in the name of a religion".

So if any religion wishes to be part of the indigenous American society, for which that religion's "forefathers" made no original contribution, then they either abide by the norms and laws as incorporated within that indigenous American population, or they will be sent elsewhere .... the choice is theirs ....

That's the way I see it.
