sonny: Good question. This does not look like the country fund. My intent is to buy the KoreaFund (KF) - a closed country fund in NYSE. Somehow I landed myself into buying Korean Investment fund (KIF). I made a very small investment. I might consider buying Korea Electric Power (KEP) which was recommended by someone in CNBC recently. You recall John Templeton also was expressing hope in the Korean economy. While all the bad news may not be out and Korea may further go down, I feel the timing may be right to put some money now. In the words of Jim Rogers, you should consider investing in a country when the blood is flowing in the streets. However Jim said he is closely watching Korea and not buying at the present time.
