Observation 1/7/97

It appears as if the Sellers are once again drying up. I use P&F
charting for tech analysis and if we hold $18.50 which is a technical
support we may experience the reversal pattern and rise to the $22 or $23 range before the possibility of another orderly reversal to the downside.

Fundamentally I feel that INTC may lift the market next week but I have reservations concerning their forward statement regarding reduced ASP's, tighter margins and low priced P/C competition. It's no secret that they're a very large part of KLIC's biz and if they paint a healthy picture it should fuel the rise.

I resisted selling my Jan 20 Calls today however if we rise to the $23
level I will cover my shares with Feb 25 or 22.5 Calls which based on volatility should have healthy premiums.
