>>>"Many if not most powerful men are philanders. Many if not most powerful men are philanders. I consider that and a certain amount of lying to be "normal" in that context. "<<<

Maybe, I can't say for certain that is not true but I hope it is not. I certainly would not term it "decent." However, it does not tip my kettle. I allow great latitude for people to choose their lifestyle. Again, that is not my primary issue, trust is. We lend our votes to a representative, trusting them to serve honorably. At a minimum things like abuse of power, lying, and corruption is unacceptable.

It is on us to demand a change by making it clear we will not accept otherwise from someone claiming to represent us. That needs to be the next movement. You start it, I will jump on the wagon.

>> The evidence piled up to the point where I recognized him as a misogynist.

I would not think of walking through a door ahead of my wife and not holding the door for her. Or any woman. It just wouldn't even occur to me that that is okay.

Yet, I saw Trump get out of the limo and not wait on his wife. I thought that was crude behavior. But it isn't misogyny, I don't think. Do you think Trump is a misogynist? When I looked that term up in the dictionary I found, "Dislike or prejudice against women." I don't think he dislikes or is prejudiced against his wife.

I can't find any indication that Trump has treated women any differently from the way he treated men. There is no evidence of womanizing that I saw.

So, what exactly is his wrongdoing in this connection, other than perhaps social awkwardness?
