>> Only saying that the cloth manifesting differently results in honest coverage manifesting differently. I think the press has yet found its groove with that but I expect that it will, at least more or less.
I hope the parties will have a meeting of the minds, but I don't think we will eliminate the liberal bias in news coverage anymore than we're going to get Paul McCartney supporting Trump. There was a time when news coverage was honest or at least they tried to be honest.

The media made to pretense of fair coverage in 2016. Columnists were demanding hard news writers should become advocates. Hard news writers could not hide their disgust with Trump. CNN moved to the most insane position I could imagine with outright racism for hours each evening and constant bickering over false positions. It was sickening, really. And the NYT ended the election season with an apology for, I suppose, losing its perspective (an apology which I actually respected the Times for, except it seemed like the murderer who apologizes while still holding the bloody knife).

I think the passage of time will clarify a lot of these issues but I'm not condemning a man who gets things done for his crassness. I can tolerate it if he accomplishes where his predecessors have failed.
