“Torture’s illegal,” Ryan told reporters last week. “And we agree with it not being legal.”

That is true on American soil. or administered by American personal.

However interrogation can be carried out by a foreign entity in countries like, Poland, Thailand Afghanistan, Lithuania, Romania, Where a lot worse than waterboarding is done.

When people join terrorist organizations with the intention of harming & killing innocent people without mercy in order to accomplish their goals. They should expect no less when they are captured.

People object to making someone suffer to access information which could save the lives of hundreds. Yet they are OK with droning a building, killing many innocent people in order to wipe out one or two. The innocent they say is simply collateral damage.

Why ? Because like Nagasaki it is done from a distance and you don't see the actual people as it is happening. Where interrogation is close up and personal.

Trump's Deputy Minister of CIA is suggested to have been formerly connected to a CIA Black Site. He probably knows the ins and outs. If enhanced interrogation will provide information which cannot be obtained otherwise, and it will save innocent American men, Women and children from future harm or death. Go for it.

It will be interesting to see how Rex enjoys moving from being CEO of Exxon to traveling the world with a pooper-scooper.
