You owe it to yourself to get up to speed on this topic. The so-called "Hockey Stick" is bullshit. We know that. The statistical work, employing PCA, is terrible on the Mann paper. It has been analyzed and re-analyzed, covered most thoroughly in the excellent book on the subject, "The Hockey Stick Illusion," in which it was shown beyond any doubt that not only was M&M correct, but detailing the absolute corruption within the peer review processes of purportedly scientific journals such as "Nature" and "Science". The IPCC results have been getting more absurd by the year. heartland.org
