Got an opinion from one of our patent attorneys on Yurie's patent. Although he is not an expert in the field, his perception of their claims was that they range the spectrum from being "fairly broad to somewhat narrow" when one reads them from a purely legal point-of-view. I do not have specifics on which claims (there are 42) which he felt had the broadest implications, but I felt overall that his assessment was upbeat. Let's hope they can get some mileage out of their nascent intellectual property portfolio. Regards, Keith Walker
