Man I have so many posts to get back to on this thread. Work ethic comes from HOME.. please no one pawn that chit off on the education system... ed system is only a backstop to make sure if possible that value is not left behind.. The fault for work ethic failure comes from shitty parenting... not the state True enough, but when the nanny state works against good parenting values, I have a problem. Give education back to the states, the education of my generation blows current kids education into the weeds and/or deep into the outhouse.
