Eric,

When I had my 660AV learner, I waited until they were well past the 8100 machines and bought an 8500. Glad I did.

If they stall on the G3 line, I'll stall my purchase.

Not a bad speculation. I was going to ask you and others why Apple wouldn't come out with these machines. Perhaps we are dealing with a new, masterful Apple, able to play these games in the same league, if not equal to, Microsoft.

Jim, wondered if anyone else was going to mention that Austin Statesman goof. You caught it. Very strange.

Well, I'll be watching the real-time quotes very carefully tomorrow am and praying I can get an audio feed of the Jobs speech.
