No one is talking about killing the environmental laws passed in the 70's.
Leaded gasoline was started to be phased out starting in '86. It was completely banned in '96. It'd be a disaster to return to leaded gasoline.

Ultra low sulphur diesel and gasoline was phased in by EPA between '06 and '10. Returning to low grade gasoline/diesel would be a disaster.

Congress is letting coal companies dump waste into streams now.

Congress will probably allow communities to dump untreated muni waste into rivers and streams now...

Congress will probably allow industries to dump untreated industrial waste, such as cyanide electro plating solutions into the municipal sewers and they'll probably decommission the muni waste treatment plants as they'll not be able to function with all this toxic waste streams coming...

They'll probably eliminate the hazardous waste category. It's expensive to segregate hazardous wastes, label and waybill it (all the freaking paperwork etc..) and hire a licensed enviro company to dispose of it in a lined landfill. To heck with the land fills they're expensive to maintain to. Industry can't afford to bear the cost of them. You'll have to be on the watch out for people dumping hazardous waste in your back yard... Set up cameras to alert you and you can shoot the bastards when they do it...

Conservitards make these off the cuff statements about the EPA being overreaching when they don't have a clue about what the regulations are and why they're there.

1322 Superfund sites, which are polluted sites that are on an EPA priority list for clean up (paid for by the tax payer). No sir, the polluter is NOT paying to clean up their mess. And if Dump has his way, all these will be defunded!!! Imagine the savings! Ya thunk the punk Dump will make the polluter pay? Not a chance!
