you are right related to lack of persecution, but the golden one will not improve the situation only intends to make it worse based on his recent statements

In this memorandum Individual Accountability for Corporate Wrongdoing was supposed to be enforced in 2015 Please see this link justice.gov Both criminal and civil corporate investigations should focus on individuals from the inception of the investigation. Criminal and civil attorneys handling corporate investigations should be in routine communication with one another. Absent extraordinary circumstances, no corporate resolution will provide protection from criminal or civil liability for any individuals. Corporate cases should uot be resolved without a clear plan to resolve related individual cases before the statute of limitations expires and declinations as to individuals in such cases must be memorialized. Conclusion The Department makes these changes recognizing the challenges they may present. But we are making these changes because we believe they will maximize our ability to deter misconduct and to hold those who engage in it accountable. In the months ahead, the Department will be working with components to turn these policies into everyday practice.
