I'm not so sure about the H-1B argument. Only about 40k of their 220k employees are in North America on visas. And the web conferencing/ video technology has advanced so much in the last 10 years that the presence is probably more about comfort-building with clients than actual productivity. In the extreme case where the program gets shut down entirely, this would no longer be a bargaining chip in contract negotiations anyway.

One risk I do take seriously is the rising wage level in India. Unlikely that this would reach parity with the US, but a narrowing of the spread could significantly weaken their business model and profit margins.

I don't know what to make of the activist activity, but I'll assume it can be safely ignored. Interesting that the short float was so high late last year - I see it now as below 2%.
