Anant-It was originally my understanding that Naz imposed the restriction on stop orders. However, when I discussed it with a Fido rep, he told me that some brokerages will handle Naz stop orders, and that they(Fido) was evaluating a procedure that would enable them to do likewise I'm sure there are more experienced traders here on the thread that can provide a more definitive answer.

Aslo, one of my few criticisms of Fido is that I often get incomplete or inaccurate info from their phone reps.

ANANT, Re<stop-loss on NASDAQ>
Last year I placed a Stop Loss on Citrix (CTXS) in my eSchwab account.
The trade executed at the first available price once it went thru thr Stop. My Stop was $36...the shares sold at $35.875. Unfortunately,
It worked <ggg> the stock is now around $70.
