If it was such a non-event and so boring then why was the South forced to integrate and why did they fight it so hard? And why didn't they do the integration on their own without being forced to do it? I think you will find few African-Americans that think that segregation in the South was boring, or not a big deal issue. You are aware I assume that virtually every southern congress person voted against the 1964 civil rights act. You know that right??
