Re DDS - there is certainly value there - what happened to the Reit conversion that DDS at some point was pursuing? They own the vast majority of their stores - about 250 of them, but then the markets they are in are not the best. They made in average a couple million in profits (about $3M on average ,when they sold their stores. That would be an extra $750M in value above their book, plus they own their distribution centers as well.

Not to shabby, because their business seems like an inferior model to Kohl's, which is struggling quite a bit.
