Hi Quad-K. I will answer your question honestly (as I've always tried to do on this thread). At one time I had 13000 shares tied up. And if (if...) I go again, it won't be for 1K or so. I guess it's a backwards way of answering you that ... yeah, based on my past experience with them, I think (heh, think ... you never know with this company), that as you say, it's probably the ultimate safe point. And, even at that,
I would prepare myself for a long wait (unless there was a takeout, and I could make money that way).

Believe me when I say that I wish and hope the longs that are in at these levels make money (back). Believe me when I say that I "dearly" hope guys like Elmo e.g., makes it back. I'm not shorting. I won't do it. Call me nuts, call me whatever you like. This stock has been a real "trip" for me, and yes, I did and have learned a lot (I'm not ashamed to admit that...). And no, I don't think they are due any respect above $7 yet. I haven't seen or heard "anything" to make me believe that there will be a "Novell Second Coming".

I don't want to be labeled as a trouble maker or hypester (easy to get labled for new people that haven't followed this stock or this thread), but hell, I can't help but call em' as I see em'. Like I told you (generic you <g>), I see a lot of stuff coming over the internal Intranet at big blue, and well, quite frankly, ALL of it is a lovefest with you know who.

Thanks for the heads up on the others. CPQ has been very, very good to me. I have a very good position (much lower than the 40 that the pundits predicted <laugh>, it's almost at 62 now going into the 2/1 split and I hope to see it at 70. Dell has made a great comeback to, and I like CSCO too. Oh yeah, I forgot, I like IBM <G> too (have a little of that).

Anyway, this is a wordy post, with not much content, more a reply to you, and I just wanted to level set a bit.

When they "show me some s*it" <g>, I'll beleive em'.

Best Regards,

Joe...
