Thanks for posting this. I hope you read it thoughtfully. Even though this is a quote from Taleb, it is a core position of Bannon's and Trump's. Trump, of course, is an inarticulate speaker who lacks the natural ability to be eloquent when explaining himself. Bannon, OTOH, is quite articulate. In listening to several of Bannon's public speeches, some going back to 2010, this core position is always woven into his speeches. And it is core to much of what is written on Breitbart News.

This should appeal to many on the left who speak against 'plutocrats'.

<<We are witnessing the rise of a new class of inverse heroes, that is, bureaucrats, bankers, Davos-attending members of the I.A.N.D (International Association of Name Droppers), and academics with too much power and no real downside and/or accountability. They game the system while citizens pay the price.”>>

That was a great article Ron, thanks. So Trump is completely surrounded by crazy people that do not believe in organized logic.

And this anti-globalism is exactly the wrong thing that we need in today's world. We need to become a global village if for no other reason than as a means of controlling nuclear weapons and other modern existential dangers..

Going against globalism is the worst thing we could do because it means we are not working towards working together. As the left keeps trying to tell the right, we live on spaceship Earth and we need to keep it neat and clean and safe.

And that can only be achieved through globalization.

Those guys around Trump are just batshit crazy. Trying to make any sense out of their thinking is useless.
