Sure, but a) They should be called out for their inherently un-American efforts to shut down someone else who is engaged in the exercise of free speech, and b) Objecting isn't the same thing as setting stuff on fire, breaking windows, and attacking people. Objecting without committing crimes is fine. But these were criminal activities in some cases.

But the students that object, should be able to object. Sure. But they shouldn't get any positive reinforcement for doing so. What they are entitled to is access to space out of earshot of the objectionable presentation.
