Interesting action today, and it seems that for some reason my prediction in
Message 3084456, may unfold as planed.

I sense a decoupling of the stock market from the bond market. First Japan and then Europe and the US.

It is to early to tell, but teh SPX is at the same level with the US Tresury bond at 6.25% or 500bp lower. OR actualy if we take August into account 750 bp lower.

Any takers??

A.G. remarks Saturday only indicates a deflationary enviroment which is very bad for stocks as earnings will diminish quickly.

My thinking that we have seen the highs of this market,

Paulo,

The bonds looks a bit over done, but, honestly, what do I really know? I'll still hold long positions and be willing to give some back for a confirmation that it topped, but I believe it may be far from topping yet.

Absolutely, we can toot our own horns, and we should, it's our party, ain't it?

Lower in the equities today?
