Ted Downs: Based on all of the information presented on this thread, Globalstar and Loral I sincerely believe that the dramatic success of both is a done deal. The only question is which one will be more successful? If you bail in September of 1999 you could be missing out on the greatest upsurge. All of the information that I have seen shows 1999 - 2002 and on through 2007 as the period of greatest growth. 2000 - 2002 is the period when competitors will start coming on line but both I* and G* will already have a very strong foothold with second generation systems on line.
