I smoke a pipe, and usually do not smoke anywhere I go. My point is that there is absolutely no good purpose in the State of California making bars smoke-free. It is not so much an infringement on the rights of smokers as on the rights of the owners - a bar's atmosphere is its stock-in-trade, and if the owner wants to permit smoking, he should by all means be allowed to do so. You wanna go to a smoke-free establishment, feel free to do so, but the state has no f**king business telling my local pub owner that he has to keep me from enjoying nicotine with my alcohol!
