Watch below: ............ After Hugh Hewitt kisses McConnell’s Obama by saying he was soooo brilliant for slapping down Elizabeth Warren (because he totally planned that), Tucker disagrees. “I don’t know. I mean, I see your point, I think it’s a smart point, but I’d also bet money that if Elizabeth Warren had received the Democratic nomination, she’d be the president right now, because she is in line with what Democratic voters think. She has a worldview, she can articulate it, I don’t agree with it, but it’s, she’s not just an identity politics person, she’s got a consistent left-wing economic view that has a lot of support in the country.” Er… you mean, Trump’s economic views? I mean, honestly her socialist anti-capitalist rhetoric sure does sound a lot like his populist anti-corporation anti-trade rhetoric. Maybe he has a point – had the far left socialist Warren run against Trump, she could have actually undercut his left-leaning socialist attacks on capitalism. So, that’s weird, huh? I wonder if Tucker’s audience agree – or if the Donald does… therightscoop Rx No • a minute ago I agree with Tucker because the differences in this election wasn't really policy based. T rump didn't win the election because of voters on the right he won it because millions of white, blue collar Dem voters were rightly p*ssed off that Barry had abandoned them. Warren could have made a better case to those voters that she has spent a lifetime 'looking out for them'. Her ideas are dangerous and would have exacerbated the problems in the country but she would have been able to sell herself as an authentic woman of the people in a way that Clinton just couldn't do(I know that she's a millionaire in the pocket of special interests and the unions but not enough voters would have done their due diligence) and she would definitely have been able to invigorate the base like Cankles just couldn't do.Everything that cost Hillary the election wouldn't have been an issue for Warren, Big Labor would have come out hard for her,no email scandal, she could have used the woman hard more effectively because she wouldn't have been carrying Bill's baggage, she wouldn't have had the whole health question hanging over her head and every single American wouldn't have thought that she was a compulsive liar like they did Hillary and Bernies army of college aged kids would have been like her own private army. I don't believe that Warren was a better option than Trump and I'm certainly not sorry that she didn't run but I do believe that she could have taken him. Coltrane • 2 minutes ago I despise Elizabeth Warren, not just for her policies but for the hateful heart she reveals in her attacks on those with different opinions. Having said that, I don't think there is any question that she would have beaten Trump. I don't think singling her out in the Senate was a brilliant strategy at all, the general public hears only that her free speech was stifled while she was battling racism. This only empowers her supporters and raises her national profile. JudyPaulette • 16 minutes ago I agree. First woman who doesn't look like an old hag and doesn't have the Clinton baggage of leaving people to die in Benghazi or email scandals. A Socialist. She would have got all the 'Feel the Bern's', all the pro-choice women, all the pro-gay marriage people, all the Socialists, Communists and Marxists that Obama got.
