JPS----A reverse split would reduce the number of shares per shareholder and increase the price of the shares. For instance if you have 10,000 shares worth .10 a share, and they do a 1 for 10 reverse split, then you would wind up with 1000 shares worth a dollar. Notice that the total value hasn't changed.
