Uh, you are aware that most of the complaints are on the state level? For a lot of reasons, like no tax base, the public schools in Detroit are a basket case. But not so at the state level. Which is what people in Michigan, even supporters of charter schools are complaining about. Apparently charter schools are held to a lesser standard than public schools in Michigan. At DeVos' insistence. Which is why she was specifically questioned on that matter. And she refused to answer. Points, I suppose, for attempting to obfuscating the issue.
