While the acquisition news helped two sets of my calls to expire worthless, I still see it as a good move by BORL. THis has nothing to do with OPEN. I will vote my shares YES

It says there to expect a vote in February. It will be interesting to see whether the results will be put back until after the vote, or whether normal timetables will hold.

I will stay conservative with a $43m - $45m revenue prediction, but I feel less certain this quarter than last, there are too many conflicting agendas. Del has done everything in his power to dampen expectations, if he does have some revenue recognition decisions to make, I'm sure that this quarter would be when he shoots high rather than low... And the same with profits: clear the decks of the previous accruals, write them back against expenses, and show good eps.

The timing of the Visi results will be interesting, too. Last quarter's came out on 22nd October; if the news is good, I'm sure they will attempt to hit this kind of schedule, but I would also think that there would be considerably more people looking over their shoulders at the numbers than just the auditors.....
