Sure. Like Arne Duncan, who ran the City of Chicago's schools before his excellent tenure as Education Secretary. Is that what you think we need? I question the need for a separate Dept of Education at all and would be fine with a total disbanding of it. Surely, you can see my criteria for a manager would be different from yours.
