I agree Chris. If they just announce kimberlite there will only be a short term spike of not much more than $1.25 if current trading range (80-90›) holds and no new (Ashton results) results are out. People will quickly want to know additional information, ideally the diamond count. That's when we'll see could see a double or more, depending on quantity relative to Ashton's releases. Realistically results of this type are AT LEAST two months away, would you not say?
I don't see the price rising much from here unless new data comes out. Ask yourself, what fundamental new information is out that would cause major purchasing at this time? What is so different between now and last Sept. (when they were originally suppose to start to drill)?
I think this is a realistic observation and appraisal.

Good luck to us all,
Just
Wayne

I see no reason why montello shouldn't follow ashton's chart pattern from '97 if they produce similar results. remember, aca went to $2 plus on news of kimberlite.....so should meo with a similar find.

True that some of the price includes an opinion that there is kimberlite.

However! A confirmation, coupled with the POG being in the toilet, speculators need some place to put their money. Hence my belief that MEO will be one of the primo choices in the first half of '98.

Just an opinion, but an informed one. There are no guarantees in this market! Not with the destruction since the BRE-X debacle!
