Hi Folks! Frank, you have been well ahead of the mainstream media in your assertions, who are now starting to see the light-- Bravo! :^)

NWT should offer some interesting plays this winter, I agree. It just seems that the new, exciting frontier is the Alberta diamond hunt. The coming unknown is what's so enticing. I think we'll be seeing some sweet surprises.

Gordon M., the Archean Hearne Craton in the south (Sweetgrass Arch) is definitely an area to watch ("Lethbridge property"). PUG may very likely find some real potential there. Archean cratons are where the "economically viable" diamonds can be found. MMU (Marum), for one, has aleady found a diamond in the area on their 'Black Butte' property on the Milk R. trend down there (AGS, Bulletin #63).

Frank, re. the Ashton early land staking in Alberta, as I think you're aware, much less than was wanted was gotten by ACA, though to what extent this may prove true remains to be seen. ACA was unable to get a handle on the geology before other co.s were in the area staking like mad (NCS, MEO, TYR, EVR...). For ex., it seems MEO has gotten a piece of what Ashton wants, and will be drilling it w/in a couple weeks. A topographical high 'dome' magnetic anomaly abutts off Ashton's property onto MEO/RDW's property (SE of ACA discov'y), as well as onto TYR's 100%. Essentially, MEO fluked onto what may turn out to be a major find (only speculation, of course). This is where their first drill targets are (funded by JVpartner Redwood). Downie and Senn have been doing a lot of refining of the geophysics in the area (studying aeromags, grnd geophysicals, satellite imagery, etc)., interpreting...

This is far from over-- many new discoveries to be made! This is a very exciting time. Geologists toiling away in the area are piecing together the mosaic, loving every educational minute of it! History is definitely in the making, and we are able to be a part of it!

Lots to the play yet unknown, kids!
I believe Ashton is holding a few aces in their hand, ,
