Terrence, you can relegalize all the drugs you want to--I basically agree with you on this issue, at least to the point of decriminalization. However, that strikes me as a totally different issue from workplace health and safety law, and the rights of people to breathe air not clouded with tobacco smoke. Why, I wouldn't smoke marijuana, either, in public, even though I believe it should not be illegal, if I were close enough to someone to possibly affect them.

Why is it that you think I am always trying to take someone's rights away? I still maintain that PURE libertarianism would create total chaos, and this subject poses an excellent example of what I am saying. In other words, your individual 'right' to smoke may well harm me. It seems that you cannot have your right without infringing on mine, and that is exactly why some regulation is needed in societies.
