Chris, No one gets your point or is interested in your semantics you know what was said and if you have a problem it is your problem not ours. The term Jew is used interchangeably with the Children of Israel and the House of Israel. In fact in other versions the word Jew appears in the promises in Kings so GET OVER IT !!!! In case you are confused it was Shalom not us that feels the title Jew refers only to Judah. As you can see Mordecai in Esther was a Jew that was a Benjamite and so that is not the tribe of Judah. To me all Jews are the descendants of Jacob the 12 tribes of Jacob/Israel. That is why He is called the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob to clearly signify the race from which would come the Messiah and the promises. See not just the seed of Abraham carried the promises but three generations directed the physical seed of Abraham. So the Galatians verse is strickly seed or children as students or disciples of Abrahams example of faith and that faith justified him until Messiah came. Nancy
