Thanks, I'd already recieved an answer to the Playstation Nintendo question. Seems the chips cost about $10 and sell for about $32.
The hardware seems to be a lost leader for the software. Something only MS could pull off at the PC level. <G>

I believe they use MIPS CPU from SGI. anybody correct me if i am mistaken
