I think they have figured out the "rolling resource" thing in combination with the lack of statistical confidence in the resource numbers means that they will eventually be looking at an enormous pit that will produce some marble and some graphite (which is in small pods and disseminated veins, remember) and a large volume of crushed aggregate. The eventual size of the hole will be determined by the market for aggregate not graphite and marble. That, in turn, will affect how much marble and graphite is found and extracted. I don't think they want an enormous ever increasing hole in their community as a company keeps "digging" in the hopes of finding the graphite mother-load and, unless Trump builds his Mexican wall out of marble, I don't see that resource helping offset the cost of chasing the graphite. So it comes down to how much gravel they can sell.
