Christine, Ah, how soon we forget. <vvbg> We discussed this on the telephone a while back. Managed care? HMOs? Witch hunts? Isolating cause(s) and affixing blame? Remember? With reference to the skewed and screwed statistics, it is apparent, at least to me, that any person with a smoking history or a history of exposure to second-hand smoke, no matter how remote or how minor that exposure, is lumped into that amorphous swirl of people with smoking-related illness.
