Then what is your understanding of Teledesic's application? From what I have read, Teledesic's target market includes users that have high-bandwidth requirements (i.e. T1 capacity). Amoung possible targets would be corporate networks, communities in the "bush" without wireline infrastructure, etc. Teledesic would not target end users, but rather organizations that sell communications applications to end-users. This is where I see a fit with Nextel. Nextel leases T1 capacity from ILECs and CLECs. If Teledesic does what I understand that it does, Nextel could lease their T1s from Teledesic.
